Ever notice how pop culture is saturated in dystopia hellscapes but there's not a whole lot of utopias?

Aside from Wakanda, the last utopia western mainstream hit film was Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure in 1989. And the future they envisioned is basically our world now with better water slides. 

If we constantly imagine and dwell on the worst-case scenario, is it more likely or less likely that we'll realize it?

What about the best-case scenario?
