Quick system check.
Do this: Go to your phone settings > Go to Screen Time > Multiply that number by ~17,000 days (rough average of how many days you may have left)
Do you feel comfortable spending that amount of time on your phone during the rest of your days here on Earth?
If the goal is to create your best story, is there something else you could be doing instead?
Can you think of one time you scrolled Instagram or TikTok for an hour and felt stoked about it afterwards?
What would you do with the time if you deleted the apps for an evening? A day? A week?
What if you put your phone down like your (best) life depended on it?
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
