"That little bit of 'extra'..." 🏁 ON ANY SUNDAYS

“How we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives.”

— Annie Dillard

Ever taken a trip and vividly remember a conversation you had while trying a new meal, or the hilarious laugh a tuk tuk driver had, or an unimaginably helpful favor from a local?

Ever notice the loudest memories are rarely because of the destination, and are usually some random moments along the way?

The bad news is these moments only happen once, whether they're seemingly impactful or not.

The good news is they're happening all of the time (ex: right now) whether you're on an adventure or picking up groceries, and you have complete control over what to make of it.

Being the nicest person at the DMV.
Make the barista smile at the coffee shop.
Helping a stranger change their tire.
Picking up flowers on the way home from work.

What if you took one ordinary moment this week and made it extraordinary?

How would you do it?

Pro tip: Make it as rad as you possibly can.

PS. What makes a rad life? A bunch of rad years. What makes a rad year? A bunch of rad days. What makes a rad day? A couple rad moments.

PPS. If you ever for a moment feel like you're living a not rad life, try the exercise from the fantastic book, Storyworthy. At the end of each day, take 1-5 minutes and write down the date and three things that happened that'd be a good story to tell later. Heck, send a few our way if you'd like. We'd love to hear em. ❤️
