When we were kids, we had one channel on the TV. It was channel 12, ABC. We didn’t get to choose what to watch, and most of the programming had a pretty common theme. Wilson would always give some mind blowing life advice from the other side of the fence, though remaining faceless enforcing you to question his story. There was Dharma and Greg they planted unreasonable seeds for how we expected a professional career to mix with an enlightened path. Wheel of Fortune had us thinking solving puzzles would be lucrative someday. Shoot, suppose it is huh? 

And maybe a lot of those shows made us feel like there was a puzzle to solve, and there was a right and wrong answer.

Then there was another show that came on where the theme was “The rules are made up and the points don’t matter”. 

It wasn’t until we found ourselves comparing ourselves and her stories against our neighbors, friends, coworkers, other brands, etc., that we realized the profound nature of that shows foundation. 

When we started this brand, we saw that there were only a few options that were acceptable to be a “biker” in whatever respect that was. 

And we saw people who, at their core, had a deep seated desire to rebel against the mainstream. 

And we saw the expression of that desire morph right back into some type of conformity. Dress like this. Ride like this. Talk like this. Drink like this. Party like this. 

And if you’re in any of those traps - or you live escaped and you want to pose a question/ start a conversation with the people around you around the concept of freedom - we made this piece for you with one question in mind:
